Good Soil Network : Transforming Lives, Stories & A Generation In Africa
As we look to become an internationally recognized organization that transforms the lives of millions of young men and women within Malawi and all of Africa, we are excited to bring great news.
Beyond providing educational scholarships for high school and college young men and women, we are also getting ready to launch our latest project - Good Soil Network. This organization, under Good Soil Partners, will focus on training future leaders and entrepreneurs along with helping them launch businesses and eradicate poverty.
We believe that a God-honoring and excellent operating business such as Good Soil Network, will provide the resources to not only fund the grander vision of Good Soil Partners, but will also act as the core self-sustaining model for other non-profit organizations in the future.
This new Business and Leadership Network will be the only one of its kind in Malawi, where the youth and others will learn the skills they need to achieve their dreams. It will truly transform lives!
We are in the process of building a 17,000 sq ft “Dream Center”, located in Lilongwe, Malawi, and it will be the first of many buildings built on the 50 acres of land we already own. We also recently partnered with the great team at The Nehemiah Project Ministries who will be providing us with proven Biblical Entrepreneurship Content & Curriculum that we can teach our students and the population at large in Malawi. This Partnership will provide the next generation in Malawi an opportunity to create businesses and jobs which leads to self-sustainability.
All of these programs can be attended by any person, not just people associated with GSP or GSA and our programs will be offered both in-person as well as online, through a web-based portal. This will allow more people to join the organization without having to physically be in person. The Dream Center will be the first of it’s kind in Malawi and all of the countries around it. This Dream Center will provide the path to sustained independence in a country that desperately needs a hand-up rather than a handout. Our core belief is this - to eradicate poverty by stepping into a new era of thinking through providing education, training, coaching and guidance so that the people of Malawi do it themselves through prayer, innovation and hard work. The total cost of the whole project is estimated to be at $1.1m U.S Dollars. With the support from our generous donors and legacy builders, we are expecting to open the Good Soil Network Dream Center on September 1, 2022. With the completion of this building, the youth of Malawi will have hope for a brighter future and the means to see their dreams become a reality.
