After ten years of serving in Malawi, our co-founder, Steven Chartier learned that the root causes of poverty can not be broken by education alone. 60% of college graduates in Malawi can not find full-time employment and 8/10 businesses fail within the first 3 years, and as a result, they return to the cycle of poverty. What if there was a place where Biblical leadership and strong entrepreneurial training could provide the toolset to help college graduates create new jobs?
The Dream Center Is…
a 12,000 sq.ft professionally designed building set on 50 acres of land just outside the capital city of Lilongwe. This campus is built to teach Biblical leadership, entrepreneurship, personal & spiritual training, and development to young men and women in Malawi and all of Africa. We created a place where Malawians can further their training and become equipped so they can find meaningful employment, launch their careers or even start new businesses.

Training up Malawi’s Next Generation of Future Leaders
We will be offering a diverse range of programs that anyone can attend, not just people associated with Good Soil Partners. Our programs will be offered both in-person and online, through a web-based portal, allowing flexibility to join the organization without physically being on campus.
CLASSES WE OFFER
BIBLICAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP CERTIFICATION CLASSES
These classes will provide individuals with the tools they need to start a Kingdom-minded business or to grow an existing one. The classes help to establish a solid foundation of business where they build business plans and compete in winning some Capital Funding to start their business.
IDENTITY & DESTINY CLASSES
These classes in Identity & Destiny help the youth find their purpose in life by encouraging them to find and/or strengthen their God-Given gifts and talents. We want them to see how they can use their special gifts to build a better Malawi.
COACHING PROGRAMS
We have seen over the years that offering classes in various subjects have minimal impact if they are not followed up with intensive coaching. When coaching is concurrent with a class and is continued after it, the success rate of implementing these new ideas is tenfold.
BIBLICAL LEADERSHIP CLASSES
Small group classes as well as larger group conferences will be offered. These classes are designed to build leaders that want to make a difference and help lift other people out of the predominant survival mindset to one that sees abundance.
CHAPLAINCY SERVICES
All people at the Dream Center will have direct access to our Chaplain. To help people grow in their faith, our Chaplain will meets with people, prays for them and helps them take steps into their faith as they overcome life’s challenges.
Inside the Dream Center
Resource Center/Co-working room:
This room will be a place where the youth can come to utilize much needed resources such as accessing computers, internet, books, and other like-minded people. Malawian youth have no place to go to learn & grow beyond their school and 95% of them do not even have the basic resources.
Cafe Area:
We are excited to provide additional spaces in the center where students can just hang out in a safe environment and have a bite to eat and drink.
Career Development & Job Placement Services:
We will be providing a dedicated space for career development and job placement services to all youth in Malawi. The youth will learn work-ready skills; resume building, internships, time management, communication skills along with practical work skills. We will also be providing opportunities for business networking, job fairs, recruiting opportunities and a host of other programs to help the youth find and keep employment.
